Valuers

Geoff Blackmore: Has been employed within the property industry since 1968. His experience covers all facets of Urban valuation with particular focus upon Investment and Economic Valuations and property problem solving. Geoff is contracted to several National Companies and is a Director of TEI Works Ltd. He is currently a Government appointed member of the Land Valuation Tribunal and in 1993 was made Fellow of the New Zealand Institute of Valuers.

Grey Thompson: Has been employed within the property industry since 1972. He is an associate of both the New Zealand Institute of Valuers and the Real Estate Institute of New Zealand. Grey has Urban experience in marketing sales and valuation. He is particularly active in the property rental and land development fields and currently advises both Developer and Corporate clients in this regard.

Bruce Mainwaring:
Is an Urban Valuer with experience in both New Zealand and Australian markets. He commenced a valuation career in 1982 and following qualification moved to Australia specialising in Industrial Leasehold portfolio management. Subsequently Bruce has successfully operated his own Valuation Practice, which predominantly catered to a Residential client base. Over recent years Bruce has become increasingly involved with Compensation issues both on behalf of individuals and larger Corporate/Government organisations.

Bruce Lavender:
Commenced his valuation career in 1985 and subsequently has been employed within both Public and Private Urban valuation practice. Bruce is the Practice Manager for Blackmore & Associates. He overseas all Property Management functions and holds responsibility for two significant Local Authority Valuation contracts. Bruce is also active in Residential and Commercial valuation fields.

Peter Loveridge:
is a Rural valuation expert who has been active in Farming Valuation and finance fields since 1981. His experience covers the entire Rural sector but with particular interest in economic assessments, budgeting and problem solving. Peter has also been employed in negotiating Land Compensation conclusions together with Insurance, Lifestyle and residential work.

Garry Dowse:
Garry commenced his property industry career in 1982 and subsequently has been employed both within the public and private sectors. His experience covers all matters of urban valuation but with particular focus upon investment and economic valuations. Over the years Garry has also become a specialist dispute resolution consultant and has been widely involved in property education including a period as Lecturer in property at Massey University. In 2002 he was made Fellow of both the New Zealand Institute of Valuers and the Property Institute of New Zealand.
