Supporting the community
On 26th August 2011, four valuers from Blackmore Group attended the Annual National Bank Daffodil Day Golf Tournament at Palmerston North Golf Club. This charity event helped raise money for the Cancer Society and was an enjoyable day for all. Blackmore Group also participated at the Auction at the end of the day and purchased a signed 2011 Manawatu Turbos jersey which is now proudly hanging in our offices. This is one of many events that Blackmore Group get involved with in the community to help raise funds for local charities.
Keeping up to date.
On 2nd September 2011, all Blackmore Group Valuers attended the one day Property Institute Massey Spring Seminar which covered a wide range of relevant topics towards our continued education requirements. Topics ranged from Certificate of Titles, Christchurch Earthquake and building construction, the economy along with quality assurance strategies and lessor/lessees interests. Further discussions with valuers from around the country also proved worthwhile.
